The apprenticeship programme includes a ‘framework’ of qualifications to prove your effectiveness in salon, including practical skills, essential knowledge and understanding.
All elements of the framework are mandatory, but evidence of prior learning / experience will be considered. Most apprentices attend their training centre on a day release basis. Half the day is spent participating in practical training/assessment; with background knowledge delivered during the remaining time. Progression is supported by training and assessment in the workplace.
In order to become an Apprentice you must be EMPLOYED and Michael John Academy have a Team of Employer Liaison Officers who can advise you of our employer vacancies and support you to apply either on-line via the National Apprenticeship Vacancy System or directly via Michael John Academy.
